Holistic healthy sex is sex that, among other things, creates the right balance between internal and external release.
Similarly, a holistic healthy diet is characterised by creating the right balance between intake and excretion.
One of the major challenges for men who want to improve their health through sex is the purely biological pressure to release accumulated semen. This pressure leads to a desire for ejaculation in order to achieve the resulting stress reduction that comes with emptying the bladder.
A sign that a man is having sex too infrequently is that he rushes to ejaculate when he finally does have sex. This leads to short-lived intercourse without the transformation of sexual energy. The energy is released before it has had time to grow and circulate.
Healthy sex for a man is frequent sex that does not always end in ejaculation. Sometimes (preferably most of the time, especially in middle-aged and older men), sexual intercourse consists solely of internal release. This means that breathing and attention are used to channel sexual energy inward. In this way, it is possible to have multiple orgasms without ejaculation and loss of energy.
Frequent sex makes it easier for men to regulate ejaculation and release from time to time based on intuitive insight into what the body and the rest of the system require from time to time. A technique such as cuddle sex can help in this regard. This involves, among other things, reducing back-and-forth movements, resulting in less friction, while increasing movement in the other direction through contractions of the penis muscle. This is what I call the inner hug. In this way, it is possible for a man to have sex for a long time without ejaculation. Energy sex with clothes on is also a good practice for men who want to strengthen their ability to be with the sexual energy without giving in to the urge to penetrate and ejaculate.
Internal and external realease are healthy in two different ways
External relase (ejaculation) is healthy, as frequent ejaculation is associated with a reduced risk of prostate cancer, but internal release (retention) is also healthy, as it increases vitality. At least, if we are to believe Taoist tantra and other ancient traditions that share the same view of the importance of sex for human health, strength and spirituality.
This means that, from a holistic point of view, both extremes should be avoided. One should avoid too frequent ejaculation, as this is associated with a lack of ejaculation. One should also avoid too infrequent ejaculation, as this can cause prostate problems. The fact is that the body is designed to be used, and this also includes the male ejaculation system.
Specifically, it has been documented that frequent ejaculations as a young man are associated with a reduced risk of prostate cancer as an older man. The point is that there must be a balance between orgasm with ejaculation and orgasm without ejaculation, and where that balance lies varies from man to man. It depends, among other things, on age, so as a man gets older, he should not have less sex; instead, he should ejaculate less frequently and have sex more often. This preserves vital energy, allowing the man to use sex to strengthen his life as he ages.
