Sit down at least once a day and observe the sensation of your stomach rising and falling with your inhalation and exhalation. Then you’re on your way.
Knowledge and motivation are secondary to meditation.
Meditation awakens and strengthens the Spirit within you.
This makes it possible to distinguish between beneficial and harmful information and motivation.
And it becomes possible to do something different than you usually do.
Insights on the road to health and freedom
Daily meditation leads to a gradually increasing insight that is important for both health and freedom, among other things:
- It is impossible to be completely free always in the earthly world
- It is always possible to achieve degrees of freedom, even in the worst inner or outer prison
- Much happens to us from outside and inside that is beyond our control; but we can control how we respond to what happens to us in life
- Health is not something that can be measured; health is subjective; it can only be felt and experienced
- Everything is always changing
- The present is the only relevant time
- You can rarely take big steps, but you can often take small steps towards something big
- Charity leads to the direct realisation that we are all connected as different parts of the same Spirit
- Your awareness has access to knowledge and motivation within you that even the world’s best therapist could never discover
- You are your own best health coach
- Caring about material things beyond what is functionally necessary is a waste of life
- You are not your body
- You are not your thoughts
- You are not your emotions
- You are Light
